1370. Clara T. Aubuchon

Clara T. AuBuchon of Bonne Terre died at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis Friday, May 21.

She was 74 years, 1 month 19 days of age, born at French Village, April 3, 1891, the daughter of the late Dennis and Jennie (Dunn) AuBuchon.

She is survived by: the following children, Anthony AuBuchon of St. Louis; Earl AuBuchon of St. Louis; Mary (Mrs. V. M. Henroid) of Bonne Terre; Ralph AuBuchon of St. Louis; Virginia (Mrs. Kenneth Sherwood) of St. Louis; James AuBuchon of St. Louis; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Earl AuBuchon and I. F. AuBuchon both of Bonne Terre.

Her husband, Jasper AuBuchon and two sons preceded her in death, as did two brothers John and Eugene.

The body was in state at C. Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, Bonne Terre.  Requiem High Mass was at 10:00 a.m. this morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre by Father J. Homer Noser.

Burial was in Immaculate Conception Cemetary with arrangements under the direction of C. Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home of Bonne Terre.


Jasper John Aubuchon

LEAD BELT NEWS, Flat River, St. Francois Co. MO, Fri. Nov. 15, 1957.

Jasper John AuBuchon was born on July 29, 1882, in French Village, Mo., a son of the late Louis and Louise AuBuchon, and died in DePaul Hospital, St. Louis, Wednesday, November 13, 1957, aged 75 years 3 months 14 days. The family lived in Desloge for many years, while he was employed by the National Lead Company, moving to St. Louis in 1940.

On April 18, 1911 he was married to Clara Theresa AuBuchon, who survives with four sons and two daughters: Anthony, Earl, Ralph and James AuBuchon and Virginia Lee (Mrs. Kenneth) Sherwood of St. Louis, and Isabelle (Mrs. V. M.) Henroid of Bonne Terre. He also leaves a brother, Lee AuBuchon; two sisters, Mrs. Ida AuBuchon of St. Louis and Mrs. Carrie Proper of Kansas City; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Leo Edward and Joseph Gregory, and two brothers, Irving and Joseph Aubuchon.

Mr. AuBuchon is in state at the Robert D. Kinealy Mortuary, 2228 St. Louis Avenue. Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m., Saturday, November 16, at St. Augustine's Church, with burial in the Catholic Cemetery at St. Francois at approximately 11 a.m.
